Description:This one week-long tour of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities has changes many students' lives. Students in grades 9-12 visit approximately 10 different colleges and universities each spring to explore the Black college campuses and experience campus life; they learn the process of applying to college and to begin thinking critically about attending college.

Two months prior to the tour, students research each school on the tour and develop a portfolio containing transcripts, letters of recommendation, and personal letters to present to each college/university on the tour.

Eligibility:Must be enrolled in grades 9-12 Must attend 75% of the portfolio sessions Must develop a completed portfolio
