Description:This program is for high ability, high potential 10th and 11th grade students who demonstrate a strong interest in science and technology. Focus is on scientific research for those interested in science-based majors and careers. Students work with professors on-campus pursuing research activities and advanced studies. Program goals are: 1) focus on scientific research; 2) expose students to career options in technology and science; and 3) provide role models in these fields and encourage mentor/mentee relationships.
Eligibility:Students in 10th or 11th grade as of September 2009.

Fees:Application fee for all participants is $10 and non-refundable. All expenses related to tuition, academic fees, books and campus room and board will be provided. However, normal out-of-pocket expenses for notebooks, calculators, snacks, laundry, recreation and other incidentals should be anticipated.
